Grant for Teacher’s Workshops in France : SPCD 2014
A SPCD (Stage Pédagogique de Courte Durée) is a training grant aimed at helping teachers perfect their skills in methodologies for teaching French language and culture. The SPCD grants are intended for teachers of French as a second language who work in elementary or secondary schools. A special training is also offered for teachers working in French immersion programs.
The training sessions last two weeks and take place in France. Each grant includes :
Training fees (including a cultural activities package)
Train tickets from Paris to the destination city (round-trip, 2nd class)
An allowance covering a portion of housing costs and food expenses
International airfare is the responsibility of the participant.

Proof of U.S. citizenship (passport or birth certificate) or a copy of r permanent resident card if you are not a U.S. citizen
Proof of full-time employment in an accredited school, grades K-12 (letter from your school or school district)
Incomplete applications will be automatically rejected.
