EU Ambassador to the United States David O’Sullivan to Visit New Orleans [fr]
EU Ambassador to the US, Mr. David O’Sullivan, will speak at the National World War II Museum on Thursday, May 4 2017 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Marshall Plan, and the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome.
The European Union and the United States have been working hand-in-hand since World War II so as to promote shared peace and prosperity.
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, the White House reiterated its strong support for the European Union and celebrated our joint legacy. More than ever, transatlantic partners should seek to promote a common approach to today’s global challenges and coordinate their efforts to promote growth, jobs, stability and a sustainable future.
