Consulate General and Community Observe Moment of Silence

On July 15th, 1,500 people came together to the New Orleans Museum of Art to honor the victims of the Nice attack.

During this moving event organized by the consulate, the Consul general gave a speech to the community in which he stressed the need for unity in times of tragedy and reminded the motto of the French republic “Liberté, égalité, fraternité”.

The heartfelt speech was concluded with a moment of silence in memory of the victims.
