Consul General Grégor Trumel Elected New Dean of Louisiana Consular Corps [fr]

On Friday, December 10th, the Louisiana Consular Corps holiday reception was held at the Residence of France, and hosted by Consul General Grégor Trumel, newly elected Dean of the LACC. Mr. Trumel will succeed the previous Dean, Jim Sutterfield, who has carried out this mission since 2015.

Mr. Trumel’s role as Dean of the Louisiana Consular Corps will officially begin in January, 2017. The Dean is in charge of leading and directing the consular organization, which is comprised of 55 career and honorary consuls.
“This is a great honor that I accept with gratitude. I will commit all of my energy and determination to the mission of the LACC, which plays an essential role to the international influence of Louisiana,” announced Consul General Trumel during the Louisiana Consular Corps Holiday Reception. “I salute the work of Dean Jim Sutterfield and Secretary Greg Beuerman, who devoutly committed themselves with efficacy to the benefit of the Corps.”
