Campus France Information Session held in New Orleans [fr]
University study abroad advisors attended an information session organized by the Consulate and Campus France, the French agency for the promotion of higher education.
17 study abroad advisors from 13 of Louisiana’s 15 universities attended the session on January 15, 2018.
The Council for the development of French in Louisiana (CODOFIL) also attended with their recently-appointed director.
Attendees learned about Campus France and student visa procedures, as well as the various activities of the Consulate.
In 2017, 79 Louisiana students studied in France for three months or more thanks to partnerships with French Universities.
The session was led by Caroline Lowe, Higher Education and Public Relations Officer at the French Embassy in the United States, and by Prudence Plessis, Vice-Consule at the Consulate General of France in Houston.
