In anticipation of the Paris Conference on Climate Change in December 2015 (http://www.cop21.gouv.fr), the Consulate General of France and CODOFIL propose a contest destined for all levels of elementary and middle school classes in immersion or FLE programs. This call for proposals is part of an educational initiative for sustainable development which, we hope, will encourage the broadest possible participation of francophone students to reflect on the global challenges of the environment in the context of their own neighborhood.
Qualified programs can present an extended educational project already in place, or inspire new cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary projects. They can also seek to participate in a program of sustainable development happening on a more global level.
Financial support will be offered to selected projects.
March 1 2015 : Deadline to sign-up online
April 10 2015 : Deadline for project proposals
April 14 2015 : Presentation of work for chosen projects
April 20 2015 : Jury deliberation and prizes!
