CODOFIL Day at the Louisiana State Legislature [fr]
Tuesday, May 26, 2015, the Senate and House of Representatives of Louisiana gave special recognition to French language and companies for Codofil Day at the Capitol Building in Baton Rouge. Representative Jack Montoucet and Senator Eric Lafleur gave the vibrant keynote speeches.
Since 1968 and the creation of CODOFIL, France has invested millions of dollars in the promotion of Francophonie in Louisiana. Today, French-Louisianan trade represents 2.6 billion dollars and 13,000 jobs.
Consul General of France, Grégor Trumel, was acknowledged with nine major French companies in Baton Rouge during a wonderful ceremony.
