Book Launch: Simon of New Orleans (20 Oct. 2016)

As part of its first major release in Louisiana by River Road Press, the artistic career of French artist Simon Hardeveld, better known as "Simon of New Orleans", is honored in a beautiful new book featuring stories, anecdotes and photos of his work.

Thursday, October 20, 2016, a reception at the Residence of the Consul General of France, Grégor Trumel, attracted numerous fans and friends of the artist, who continues to conquer New Orleans.

Simon’s art is so popular that the Consulate was happy to host numerous guests, all impatient to have the artist and author, Yvonne Spear Perret, sign their copy of this colorful book, a true representation of Simon’s joie de vivre.
