This website will also serve as link to services of the consulate of France in Houston, in charge of traveling documents or civil status for example.

You will also find the coordinates of your elected officials to the Foreign French Assembly (AFE) and of our honorary consuls in Lafayette and Shreveport, in order to guarantee the best proximity of our action. As well, you will find the list of francophone and francophiles associations of Louisiana, who work with us to strengthen the French-Louisiana friendship.

Since January 1st, 2013, the Consulate General of France in New Orleans is also the European Union Local Chair, in liaison with the other consular posts of the E.U.
