Mark your calendars !

Don’t forget that the legislative elections will take place on Saturday, June 3rd 2017 (first round) and Saturday, June 17 (second round) from 8am to 6pm.

If you yourself are unable to participate, establish a proxy vote.

To establish a proxy vote, please set an appointment with an authorized consular agent at the consulat general or with the honorary consul in Lafayette, Mr. Christian Goudeau.
Please come to your appointment with your French identity document and your proxy representatives’ details (official first and last name(s), birthday, and address). There is no deadline to establish a proxy vote however it is wise to do so ahead of time, as last minute proxies that arrive too late may not be taken into account.
Please be aware that your proxy voter must be registered on the same electoral list as you! If you are registered on the electoral list in New Orleans, you cannot establish a proxy vote with someone registered on an electoral list in France.
